When launching a nation-wide promotional blitz for Breakfast Television, Citytv needed a look that was both consistent between their major markets (Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg) and major mediums (broadcast, print and online). Creative Director Garus Booth came to us with an interesting challenge: take raw green-screen footage and a sample print ad, then turn them into a motion graphics promotional kit.

Our team quickly turned around a modular kit containing the logo, positioning line, talent vignettes and sponsor pages that the editors at Citytv can use to produce unique and flexible television spots on the fly. They can integrate voice-over and live action footage as needed while still maintaining a consistent, playful look across the regions.
